Mixing for me is all about balance and making your music sound radio ready. 

My proces often starts by talking to the artist about references,sound, rythems and feelings.

After that I listen to the rough mix a couple of times and then make a fast mix to figure out what is most importent in the track and then working on emphasizing that in a balanced matter, so it all in the end seems like a coherent track.

My main tools for mixing is Pro Tools.  I mix in the box(digital) but if the track needs a more analog feel, I have alot of analog tools I can proces the track with.
